WATCH: Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski Feature in First Tampa Bay Training Camp Clip

The 2019 season ended on a sour note for Bruce Arians’ Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his first season in Florida, Arians led the Bucs to a 7-9 finish at the end of regular season. Tampa Bay finished third in the NFC South Division. Despite a disappointing outing, there were plenty of positives for the Bucs to build on heading into 2020. A major flaw in the Bucs’ offense was the inconsistency of starting quarterback Jameis Winston. The former Heisman Trophy winner became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw 30 TDs and 30 interceptions in the same season. However, the Florida-based organization moved quickly to bring in the one and only – Tom Brady.

Brady was drafted by New England Patriots in 2000 but made his NFL debut a year later. The rest if history. 20 years and six Super Bowl trophies later, Brady ended his association in New England and opted for a new adventure in Florida. After his signing, the Bucs moved quickly to convince another former Patriots player, Rob Gronkowski, to step out of retirement and return to the NFL.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski tough it out in their first training camp video

The iconic Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were both seen sweating it out in the latest training clip to emerge from Tampa Bay’s media team. Both these NFL veterans have assumed ‘leadership’ roles in the Bucs dressing room. The addition of Brady and Gronkowski transformed the Bucs offense into a top-three attack. They already possess a wealth of talent in the form of Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, OJ Howard, and Cameron Brate.

Brady and Gronkowski were a force to reckon with during their playing days in New England. TB12 won three of his six Lombardi trophies playing alongside ‘The Gronk’ between 2010-2018. Gronkowski dropped a bomb when he announced his retirement two years ago. Now, back in the business, he will look to get back to his usual level and help Brady and the Bucs over the course of the 2020 season. Can Bruce Arians’ new-look Tampa Bay make it all the way to this year’s Super Bowl?
